STRIP-IT Heavy Duty Sealer, Coating and Graffiti Remover

Strip-It is a Professional Grade, safer, non-flammable, heavy duty multi-purpose sealer and coating remover. Formulated to stay wet for longer periods to give the product time to break down and help remove most sealers, coatings, epoxy grout haze, urethanes, synthetic finishes, adhesives, silicone, paint, ink, marker, deep-set oil stains and heavy wax and grease build up.

For indoor, outdoor, domestic, commercial and industrial areas.

Works on: Porcelain, ceramic, encaustic and tessellated tiles, terrazzo, grout, bricks, pavers, concrete, mosaics, terracotta, saltillo, quarry tiles, engineered stone, all natural stone e.g. basalt, bluestone, granite, marble, limestone, quartz, sandstone, slate, travertine etc.

Test first: always test first in an inconspicuous area to determine ease of application, dwell time, colour stability and desired results. User must determine suitability for their use.

• Read entire label, SDS & technical bulletin before using
• Wear appropriate gloves, skin and eye protection
• Do not breathe in fumes or vapours - wear appropriate mask. Use in a well ventilated area
• Avoid contact during pregnancy or while nursing
• Use when surface temperature is between 4°C & 32°C
• Do not allow contact with painted or waxed surfaces
• Do not mix with other chemicals
• Floor will get slippery during process. Take appropriate precautions to prevent slips and falls
• Will affect sealers, coatings, floor finishes, deck stains & painted surfaces

1. Do not dilute. Use neat
2. Using a roller, mop, brush or sponge, carefully apply a liberal amount of Strip-It to a manageable area
3. Allow minimum dwell time of 30 minutes - up to 2 hours depending on the problem (the longer the better)
4. Do not allow product to dry on surface - add more Strip-It to keep it wet and active
5. Scrub with a white nylon pad, scrub brush or scrub machine
6. Remove the dirty solution with a wet vac or mop
7. Rinse thoroughly with clean water
8. Repeat the process as necessary

Note: to help with residue removal, apply XtremeClean+ diluted 1:5 with water to the surface after step 7, then scrub again, then rinse thoroughly.

1. Pour product into a suitable container
2. Spread product evenly to the surface
3. After the appropriate dwell time, scrub surface
4. For large areas, use a slow speed scrubber
5. Remove dirty solution with a wet vac then rinse thoroughly
6. Surface is now clean

• Surface ready for light traffic after 1 hour or after all fumes and vapours have dissipated
• Allow at least 48 hours drying time before applying any sealers, coatings or floor finishes. Always do a test area before applying new sealer or coating to the whole area to test any adverse reaction

• Removal of thick or multiple coatings may require multiple applications of Strip-It

Approximately 10-40 m² per litre. Coverage will vary depending on type and severity of the problem you are trying to remove, porosity of surface, time solution is left to dwell on the surface and weather conditions.

• Close container tightly after each use and keep upright
• Store locked up in original container in a well ventilated cool area & protect from sunlight
• Shelf life is approx 3 years in unopened container - less after opening
• Storage beyond that time does not necessarily mean the product is not usable
• Do a test area first. Do not re-use container. Rinse and discard in rubbish
• Wash tools, gloves and shoes with water before they dry
• Wash underside of shoes before stepping onto other areas

First aid: Immediately contact Poisons Centre (Australia Ph: 131-126, NZ Ph: 0800 764-766) or a doctor. Ingestion: rinse mouth. Do not induce vomiting. Eyes: rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. Clothes: remove contaminated clothing and wash before use. Skin & hair: wash with plenty of soap and water. Inhalation: remove victim to fresh air and keep at rest in a comfortable position for breathing. General: if any irritation persists get medical advice.
